It is really hard to work out circuit problems over the phone or by email.

Status basses very rarely ' suddenly stop working ' without a fairly simple reason.

1 : Are the batteries OK? 2 : Are the connectors in the batter boxes OK? (Chck for corrosion). 3 : Is the power getting to the circuit? (Maybe the wire is off the back of the battery box). 4 : Is the jack socket OK? 5 : Are the wires to the jack socket OK? (Twisted, loose or broken off?). 6 : Does anything look 'odd' on the circuit? (Moisture, corrosion, loose wires, damage). 7 : Are the pots OK? 8 : I assume the jack lead and amplifier are working..... !?
